 The
60 Liter distillation unit holds 60 liters of solvent (15.85 gallons) for
distilling, but unit has a volumetric capacity of 102 liters (26.94
gallons).
The D 60 is a standard 220 volt, three phase distillation machine
with 6050 watts of heat, and is also available for 480 volt operation.
The DQ 60 utilizes an internal scraper that rotates and cleans the
inside walls of the distillation machine, to maintain a good thermal
transfer into the solution being distilled.
Cycle time is and average of four hours per batch. The maximum
time setting is 5 hours. Time and temperature are controlled with a
computer control board, not simple timers and thermostats.
The computer control board allows for multiple batch operation or
continuous cycle operation. Available with or without an
internal scraper.
